You will notice that we have a different scoring system that is uniquely our own. We created it so that defining which wine offered the best value for money would be a little easier. The fact still remains only your palate can tell you how much you like a wine and whether you got a great deal or not, however after tasting thousands of wines each year and knowing the relative price points of almost every wine in the province, we thought we could help a bit. Let’s face it as much as exploring the world of wines sounds great, life is too short to drink bad wine or throw good money away on a wine that is average at best.
The points are out of ten. The higher the points the more value for your money, we think, the particular wine represents. We have taken into consideration the price category the wine competes in, the wines it competes against while assuming that as the price goes up so should the enjoyment.
