A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and a grape native to the region of Gascony in Northern France.
The style is fresh and alive and it has all the qualities that I love about Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris all rolled into one glass.
The nose is a fresh splash of fresh pears, citrus, white flowers, apricots and just a hint of fresh herbs.
The palate is very clean and reviving... yes reviving... with no bitterness or intense grassy finish; just a kiss of white flowers.
SERVE chilled and on the deck.
PAIR WITH: summer salads, young, fresh cheeses, sushi, steamed veggies, oysters, local line fish.
